Why Telehealth

Care from a private location, with clear next steps

Telehealth makes it easier to get timely guidance for everyday health concerns without unnecessary travel or waiting room time. It is especially helpful for mild sick visits, refill discussions, lab-order questions, and follow-up care.

During your visit, your provider will review your concern, discuss a plan, and explain whether virtual care is enough or whether in-person evaluation, urgent care, emergency care, testing, or specialist referral is needed.

For best results, join from a quiet, private location in Texas with a stable internet connection and access to your current medication list, pharmacy information, and any relevant home readings such as blood pressure or blood sugar values.

Frequently Asked Questions

Before you book a telehealth visit

What can be treated through telehealth?

Many mild, non-emergency concerns can be reviewed virtually, including cold symptoms, sinus symptoms, sore throat, pink eye, mild flu or COVID concerns, non-pregnant adult UTI concerns, medication refill questions, and lab-order needs.

Can medication be prescribed?

Medication may be prescribed only when clinically appropriate after evaluation. A visit does not guarantee that medication will be prescribed.

Can telehealth replace urgent care or emergency care?

No. Telehealth is not for emergencies. Call 911 or seek emergency care for severe symptoms, chest pain, trouble breathing, stroke symptoms, severe allergic reactions, or any urgent safety concern.

Are labs included in the visit price?

No. The visit price covers the provider telehealth evaluation. Outside lab costs, imaging, pharmacy costs, specialist fees, and other third-party costs are separate unless specifically stated.

Is same-day availability offered?

Same-day appointment support may be available during business hours depending on schedule capacity and clinical appropriateness.

How do I prepare?

Use a private location, make sure your device works, have your medication list ready, and know your preferred pharmacy. Do not send medical details through regular email or general website forms.
